Health has been formulated to reduce the symptoms of an enlarged prostate caused
by BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). The unique combination of homeopathic ingredients
helps relieve frequent and/or painful urination, slow or diminished stream, difficulty
voiding completely, trouble starting urine stream, a weak stream of urine, a small
amount of urine, the feeling that there is more urine even though the stream has
stopped, leaking or dribbling and the inability to sleep through the night without
having to get up to urinate.
Prostatitis and BPH
Prostatitis
is an inflammation of the prostate gland, usually caused by a bacterial infection
that can be acute or chronic. In acute cases, the symptoms are similar to those
of a urinary infection and include pain in the perineal area, elevated temperature
and shivering.
Chronic prostate inflammation is called Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
(BPH) and is not the result of bacteria infection. BPH occurs in varying degrees
in all men over the age of 50. As men get older their prostate keeps growing.
As it grows it presses on the urethra. Symtoms that appear to be bladder or urinary
tract issues are actually symptoms related to the prostate.
About the
Prostate
The prostate is a tubuloalveolar exocrine gland that is part of
the male reproductive system. About the size of a walnut, it surrounds the tube
called the urethra located just below the bladder. The urethra has two jobs -
to carry urine from the bladder during urination and to carry semen during ejaculation.
The Male Urinary Tract
Because the prostate surrounds the urethra,
urinary tract function can be impacted by any change in the size of the prostate.
Men over 40 are often unable to sleep soundly due to the frequent need to urinate
during the night and are often unable to void completely leaving the bladder feeling
full. These symptoms are usually related to prostate enlargement.
Suggested
Use:
Two capsules, 2x daily for 15 days, then 1 capsule 2x daily.
