The largest of the endocrine glands, the thyroid is situated in the front and sides of the neck. It produces hormones that are vital to maintaining normal growth and metabolism. The thyroid also serves as a storehouse for iodine which it utilizes to manufacture thyroxine. In children and infants, thyroxin plays an important role in working with growth hormone to promote protein and RNA synthesis. Thyroxin also plays a crucial role in organ development particularly of the nervous system.
Metabolic rate is also strongly influenced by thyroxin in conjunction with epinephrine. Thyroxin increases the oxygen consumption and heat production of most body tissues, which helps to regulate body temperature.

Imbalances in thyroid gland function can result in a number of symptoms and conditions. Hyperthyroidism caused by excessive thyroid function is also known as Thyrotoxicosis, Graves' disease or Basedow's disease. Suggested Use:
Adults, take 15 drops under the tongue 4 times daily. This product is not recommended for children under 16 years of age. For best results take in a clean mouth.
