Introducing New Ragweed Capsules, the Food of the Gods?

I grew up dealing with allergies to ragweed and have studied the Ragweed plant for many years, including the optimum growing conditions and optimum area to grow a consistent crop.  I am fascinated by this lowly plant and the benefits we can obtain from its proper application.  In my research I have determined there are a few ways to acquire the benefits this plant’s constituents have to offer.  One is through a tincture.  Another is through a tea (a different milder species) and the other is via a capsule.  It is the Ragweed capsule that we are excited to introduce to you today.

Ragweed Capsules, 420 mgThere is no other product like this in the world.

There is no other product like this in the world.  We are able now to capsule fresh handpicked young Ragweed Ambrosia Leaves.  Each vegetable capsule contains 420 mg of these young fresh leaves from the Ragweed plant.  Locally grown and locally harvested.  The tender leaves of the Ragweed plant are handpicked and then they are carefully dried in our special facility.  Most importantly, we harvest our Ragweed at a particular time of the year to be sure the plant has not grown out of our quality specifications.  After we inspect the plants and judge their quality, we harvest and dry the tender leaves.  Because these procedures are meticulous, and because of the current size of our crop, we have a limited supply available.  Don’t miss out.

In Greek mythology ambrosia is considered the food of the Gods, and whether they are referring to Ragweed or not, we are discovering more benefits from this plant every year.  For example, Edgar Cayce (who often referred to ragweed as ambrosia) mentions using it for hay fever, reactions during allergy season, as a liver flush and much more.  He states it is excellent for the liver and good for everyone: “This is for anyone! This is the BEST of the vegetable compounds for activities of the liver.” He goes on to state that it “Maintains equilibrium in the pancreas, spleen, liver and hepatic circulation and digestive system as a whole.” He also calls it a non-habit forming mild laxative that will aid in both assimilations and eliminations.

We are proud to introduce to you this remarkable new product.

Liquid Herbal Extracts Benefits

Black Cohosh Liquid Herbal Extracts

Herbal extracts have been traditionally used to maintain, restore and improve health. But which is the best way to experience the medicinal benefits of an herb – capsules, teas or liquid extracts? Capsules may be convenient and teas may be easy to make but a liquid herbal extract offers benefits that these do not.

Tablets and capsules lose the potency of many of their active ingredients both in production and storage. Herbal tablets are prepared with fillers, binders and other materials necessary to compress the ground herbs into a tablet form. Herbal capsules tend to be better than tablets because they dissolve more easily in the stomach and do not contain the extra binding materials, however, if the body is not digesting and assimilating well, the potential therapeutic benefits of an herbal extract are diminished. Herbs in a capsule and tablet form also loose potency faster as they are exposed to oxygen.

Liquid Herbal Extracts tend to be more potent and offer a greater concentration of the plant’s medicinal properties. Their absorption occurs more quickly allowing the herbal properties to enter the bloodstream with minimal digestive effort.

Benefits of Taking a Liquid Herbal Extract:

  1. They are absorbed more easily.
  2. They are easy to take.
  3. They have a longer shelf-life.
  4. They offer a greater concentration of the plant constituents.
  5. They can be mixed in water, juice, or tea.
  6. They allow the aroma and taste of an herb to be experienced.
  7. May provide quicker benefits.

Alcohol Extraction:

Some herbs will not release their innate healing properties without a strong solvent such as Alcohol to extract its medicinal benefits. Alcohol has proven to work better than water for the extraction process of the plant’s active herbal constituents (parts of the plant that have an action on the body). It also protects the extract from bacterial growth, enhances the potency of the herb, preserves without refrigeration, extends shelf-life and brings out the aroma and flavor of the herbs.

Suggested Use:

Licorice Root Liquid Herbal ExtractsMost liquid herbal extracts can have a shelf life of up to 2 to 4 years. Store the liquid extract in a cool, dark place and shake well before each use. Always mix the dose in water, juice or tea to avoid irritating the mouth. Sip slowly and savor the flavor and aroma – an integral part of the plant’s therapeutic benefits. And don’t forget to check with your doctor – some herbs are contra-indicated when taking prescription drugs.

Edgar Cayce Hemorrhoid Exercises

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, occur most often in adults over 50. They can be uncomfortable, painful and are often accompanied by itching, burning, swelling and painless bleeding. Hemorrhoids are enlarged, swollen veins found inside or around the rectum and are often a result of straining during bowel movements, increased pressure due to pregnancy, chronic constipation, strained lifting, low fiber diet, fighting the urge to “go” and lower spinal injury.

Many people can experience relief with some simple lifestyle changes such as: drinking more water, increasing fiber intake or adding moderate exercise such as walking, yoga or swimming.

Edgar Cayce gave over 100 readings for individuals with hemorrhoid conditions and advised therapies ranging from colonics, massage, spinal adjustments, stretching exercises, fume or sitz baths, topical ointments, dietary changes and a variety of digestive aids.

Cayce frequently attributed the onset of this condition to poor eliminations, high levels of toxins in the body, glandular imbalance, poor circulation and hyperacidity.Tibbex Edgar Cayce Hemorrhoid Remedy

The most frequently recommended topical ointments to aid this condition were compounds known as TIM and TIBBEX. Cayce advised the “better” formula was TIBBEX.

Cayce also recommended daily stretching exercises to relieve pressure in the lower abdomen area.

“a very helpful exercise… would be the bending exercise with the hands raised high above the head, bending forward to bring the hands as close to the floor as possible. Do this for two or three minutes morning and evening.” (Cayce)

Hence if there will be morning and evening the exercise, not the stooping but the bending – raising the hands high above the head – as these are slowly raised, rising on toes, drawing IN the deep breath through the nostril – as the body is bent forward, with the fingers toward the floor, exhale through the mouth – doing this SLOWLY, consistently, for a minute or such, morning and evening – we may find conditions on the mend.” (Cayce)

“… There should be rather the slower rising upon the toes, not bouncing up but as the arms are stretched upward and the deep breath is taken these should be as rhythmic and not too jerky in their activity. These, though, tend to make for the opening of activities along the hips, the spine, the shoulders, the chest, and tend to make for the keeping of the circulation through the breathing in as raised, exhaling through the mouth as bending forward – a helpful and hopeful condition for the body, bringing into play the muscles of the shoulders, the hips. Thus we will relieve those tendencies that have been indicated that have existed in portions of the cerebrospinal system as related to the lymph circulation and flow through the head and neck. For these as the body will find will tend to make for, morning and evening, the throwing off of refuse as it were from the throat and head and the bronchial tubes. And with the exercises in the open, as recuperative forces at play and at work, will make for the more helpful and the more enlivening of the whole of the body-physical forces. The local applications for those conditions in the rectum and the activities through the sphincter centers have been indicated and these as they are used will be found to work with the exercise and with the care and attention [TIBBEX] as will or should be taken regarding the diets and the general activity.” (Cayce)

Incorporate some of these simple strategies to relieve the stress and strain of hemorrhoids. Be sure to see a medical practitioner if bleeding occurs as this can also be the sign of other medical issues.

Detox and Cleanse for the New Year and a New You!

How does the body detox?

Your body has its own amazing internal ability to cleanse and detoxify. The primary organs involved in these critical processes are the liver, colon, lungs, skin and kidneys. They work to filter wastes, protect the body from harmful invaders and eliminate toxins. Over time, dealing with poor dietary habits, environmental pollutants, stress, medications and lack of exercise can overwhelm the body’s ability to detox and eliminate impurities impacting the digestive system, joint health, immune function, hormone balance, skin health and more.

Four Key Processes to Health

Assimilation, Elimination, Circulation and Relaxation are integral to overall health. Assimilation refers to the body’s ability to absorb and utilize nutrients. These nutrients are used by every cell in the body to nourish and repair themselves. The body’s Elimination system uses a number of different channels to rid the body of wastes. The liver, lungs, lymphatic system, blood/ circulatory system, colon, kidney and skin are vital filtering and cleansing systems. The body’s Circulatory system is the key to sustaining life for the entire body. It works to carry the rebuilding forces to the body, as well as aiding in eliminations. Relaxation is fundamental to the health of the body’s nervous system. You may be familiar with the phrases: “thoughts are things” and “mind is the builder”. Harnessing the mind-body connection is a powerful tool for health.

Helpful Hints for Detoxifying, Naturally

1. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.

The body is composed of almost 70% water. It is needed by every cell in our body to function properly. It lubricates joints, aids the body’s eliminations, supports healthy kidney functions, improves skin complexion, boosts the immune system, and improves energy levels.

2. Breathing Exercises

Slow, deliberate, deep breathing has wonderful benefits. It calms and relaxes both the body and mind, helping the lungs to release carbon dioxide as well as ease pain, enhance lymphatic flow and improve digestion.

3. Stretching Exercises

There are many styles of stretching, including static, yoga and pilates. Stretching exercises can help improve circulation, improve posture putting lease stress on our internal organs, ease muscle tension resulting in greater flexibility, support healthy nerve function for better relaxation and improve lymphatic drainage for stronger immune function. Try Peter Van Damn’s “Exercise for All” DVD for 15 minutes daily.

Make Your Own Facial Skin Cleanser

Many facial cleansers contain ingredients that can dry and irritate skin, making them too harsh for delicate, sensitive or acne-prone skin. Selecting the best cleanser may be easier than you think. Surprisingly, many plant-based oils offer a simple yet effective way to cleanse while hydrating and nourishing skin.

The antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of Olive, Almond, Castor and Coconut oils make them a perfect choice to naturally balance skin pH, repair dry, flaky skin and restore a radiant, healthy glow. Nutrient-rich and deeply moisturizing, these oils bind to impurities and dissolve them without drying the skin. Not only do they lubricate skin, they also protect and renew skin health.

Blending in a drop or 2 of your favorite essential oil, like Tea Tree, Lavender, Peppermint or Rosewater Blend, can add another dimension to your facial cleansing oil formula. These essential oils have astringent and antibacterial properties that work to minimize excess sebum, reduce redness and balance skin tone.

Here are some suggestions for formulating your own combination of oils for a personalized facial cleanser. These ratios may be adjusted depending upon your skin type. Typically, if you have dry skin, prepare a formula of 1/3 Castor Oil to 2/3 Almond or Olive oils. If your skin is Oily, use a ratio of 2/3 Castor Oil to 1/3 Almond or Olive Oil. Add a drop or 2 of essential oil and watch your complexion glow.

How to use your Personalized Facial Skin Cleanser:

  1. Mix your oils together thoroughly.
  2. Pour a small amount of the oil mixture to fill the palm of your hand.
  3. Rub hands together then rub into face, making sure to massage for a few minutes, allowing the mixture to penetrate the pores.
  4. Dampen a washcloth with hot water, making sure to ring out excess water.
  5. Place dampened, warmed cloth over your face. This will cause a steaming effect. Let the warmed cloth lay over the face for several minutes.
  6. After several minutes, use the same cloth to wipe off the excess oil.
  7. Pat face with a dry cloth and voila!

Clean, nourish and moisturize at the same time! Pampering your skin with these organic and cold-pressed oils will keep your skin looking radiantly ageless. Create the special formula that works for you.
