What is LymphoCare?

LymphoCare® Massage & Body Lotion is formulated with a blend of natural oils to assist with lymphatic system circulation, drainage and toxin elimination during massage. The oil penetrates deeply to nourish and stimulate muscles, ligaments and tendons. It also works to relieve muscle spasms and cramping throughout the body.

Swollen Lymph Nodes

Why should I try it?

The lymphatic system's primary function is to transport lymph fluid, which is comprised of infection-fighting white blood cells called lymphocytes, throughout the body.

  • Lymph moves in one direction, toward the heart. The lymphatic system doesn't use the heart to pump its lymph fluid and must rely on the contraction of the body's muscles to circulate it.
  • Lymph vessels carry and drain fluid from virtually all tissues to help maintain the body's fluid balance, remove waste and attack foreign invaders. When strong infections occur, lymph nodes can become swollen and are oftentimes felt in the neck, underarms and groin.
  • A major role of the lymphatic system is to aid the immune system by removing and destroying waste, toxins and harmful pathogens. Lymph vessels allow water, nutrients and gases to pass through, nourishing surrounding cells as they remove impurities.
  • Lymph vessels are also found in the lining of the gastrointestinal tract and work to transport fat and specific vitamins from the small intestines to the bloodstream. A malfunction of this part of the lymphatic system can result in serious malnutrition.
  • Improper functioning of the lymphatic system can also result in its obstruction, allowing lymph fluid to build up in the tissues, a condition known as lymphedema. For example, people with swollen ankles are often suffering from lymphedema.

Massage has been shown to relieve stress, improve circulation and lymph flow, enhance immune function, relieve muscle and joint pain, and improve a variety of disorders that affect muscles and nerves. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), a specific type of lymphatic massage, offers a gentle massage designed to encourage the natural flow of lymph through the body. It's important for those unable to exercise to get regular lymphatic massages.

Specially formulated for lymphatic massage, LymphoCare contains a number of soothing oils, including Peanut Oil, which has been clinically proven to reduce pain and stiffness in patients with osteoarthritic joints.

How do I use LymphoCare?

LymphoCare can be applied on a daily basis at home as a whole-body lotion. You can also use it for when you get a muscle cramp in your legs, and take it with you to your next massage appointment. For proper lymph drainage, massage in one direction – away from the extremities and toward the heart.

What will success look like?

A LymphoCare massage can help to alleviate swelling, reduce fatigue and bring a healthy glow to the skin, all signs that your lymphatic system is working as it should to enhance circulation and eliminate harmful toxins. Over time, you should feel less pain and stiffness in your joints.

What did Edgar Cayce think?

With some simple and gentle movements, a "lymph cleansing" breathing exercise helps to energize the body, improve posture and stimulate circulation. Cayce advised:

"Mornings upon arising take for 2 minutes to exercise in this manner – where the body, standing with the feet flat on the floor, gently rises to the toes at the same time bringing the arms high above the head. Then bring these as far back as possible or practical, swinging both arms back. Then gradually bring them towards the front, then let down. Breathe IN as the body rises and OUT as the body brings the hands to the front, slowly. Do this 3 or 4 times each morning …"
