Thyrodrenal nourishes the thyroid gland with essential nutrients required to function at optimal levels including, vitamin B6, iodine, manganese, chromium and L-Tryosine. These nutrients are all necessary for a healthy thyroid to manufacture thyroxin and triiodthyonin, the vital hormone messengers that stimulate and help regulate metabolism. Additional nutrients such as, Pantothenic Acid, vitamin C, Ashwagandha and Rhiodiola are also found in Thyrodrenal to help nourish and support the adrenal glands in their response to stress.
Pantothenic Acid-nourishes the adrenal glands, the stress centers of the body. When the body is under stress, the adrenals produce hormones to help it maintain balance and harmony despite the taxing effects of the stress. Pantothenic acid is an integral part of co-enzyme A which starts the Krebs energy production cycle in mitochondria, where cellular energy is produced in the form of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate). Hormone production is one of the body's "high energy" processes, requiring optimal nutrition.*
Vitamin C- The adrenal glands have one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C in the body. It is an essential building block for the recovery of the adrenal gland.*
Ashwagandha- An herb traditionally taken for its ability to regulate cortisol levels and hormone imbalance, aiding the body overcome adrenal fatigue and chronic stress.*
Rhodiola Rosea- An herb that helps with muscle tension, circulation, stress and fatigue.*
