Histame Food Intolerance Support, 30 capsules
For Non-Immune System-Base Food Intolerance
Eat the foods you love! It's no secret that more and more consumers are mindful of the discomforts that keep coming back after ingesting foods. Food intolerance is an adverse reaction to foods rich in histamine or the inability to thoroughly digest food due to lack of proper amounts of certain enzymes. Generally it is not life-threatening, even so it can make people feel ill. Many food intolerance's are confused with immune system-based food allergies and are caused by elevated levels of histamine in foods.
Individuals who suffer from food intolerance often experience one or more symptoms such as minor Abdominal Cramps, Spasms, Headache, occasional Fatigue, Skin Rash, Eczema, Nausea, Dizziness, Digestive System problems, Running Nose/ Watering Eyes, Flatulence, Diarrhea, Exhaustion, Chills and Constipation.
Histamine levels will vary based on the maturation process and the degree of freshness. The longer food is stored or left to mature, the greater its histamine content and the more problematic it can be for individuals with food sensitivities and intolerance. Fresh meat contains no or very little histamine. However, when meat is processed further, the maturation process results in the accumulation of biogenic amines. The same is true for fish. Fresh fish contains no or very little histamine. However, fish spoils very easily and this leads to a rapid accumulation of histamine due to bacteria. Further processing, which includes salting, smoke-drying, marinating and preservation, may increase the histamine content.
Examples of foods/substances that may increase histamine levels resulting in symptoms including digestive problems, headaches and skin rashes are:
- Alcohol, particularly red wine and champagne. Also white wine and beer.
- Aged, smoked, canned fish and fish sauces. Tuna fish, mackerel, sardines, anchovy, herring, catfish, salmon.
- Pizza
- Certain vegetables and fruits
- Cheese
- Chocolate/cocoa
- Coffee, black tea
- Bread and confectionery made with yeast
- Peanuts, cashews, walnuts
Histame is for people whose doctors have decided that their discomfort is caused by intestinal food intolerance, a non-immune system-based occurance. Histame is the first product worldwide that regulates histamine levels that can cause food intolerance by replenishing the bodys digestive enzyme DAO. Histamine is a widely distributed biogenic amine, found in many foods. DAO, the intestinal tract histamine-degrading enzyme, breaks down ingested histamine, thus helping to lower overall histamine levels. A deficiency of DAO can cause an increase histamine exposure inside the body, which may result in symptoms of histamine food intolerance including digestive problems. This dietary supplement is clinically shown to regulate the histamine levels in the body (lower intestine) unlike antihistamines which only block the histamine.
Suggested Use:
For optimal results, take 1 to 2 Histame capsules within 15 minutes of consuming histamine-rich foods/substances known to cause food intolerance. Since the main ingredients have been developed to be stomach acid-resistant, you can open the capsules and swallow the ingredients (if preferred to swallowing capsules).
