Olivae Soap is milled through a superior milling process that helps keep it from disappearing quickly through daily use. The miling process is an operation in which soap chips are squeezed and kneaded by passing through a set of rollers and then compressed into one continuous strip to be made into bars. Also called French Milled from its method developed from the old French process.

Today Castile soaps are made from vegetable oils. Originally, Castile soaps were made from Olive Oil and produced extensively in ancient Castile, Spain.Olive oil soap has long been renowned as the mildest soap suitable for even the most delicate skin. It also has a reputation for being difficult, time consuming and more expensive to make than other soaps, but the results more than justify the effort.
