Castor oil has been used throughout the ages for its therapeutic properties. Today, it is used as an emollient and skin softener, for application with Castor Oil packs, and as a massage oil for muscles and joints. Castor oil applied externally in the form of a "Pack" works to better concentrate the oil's penetration allowing its natural healing properties to work. Packs may be applied to enhance assimilation, elimination and circulation; especially of the lymphatic system.

Our Palma Christos Castor oil is organic, cold-pressed, cold-processed and unrefined. The naturally occurring fats and waxes found in Castor oil give it its unique properties. Because this oil is minimally filtered, the appearance of a haze or sediment may occur even after the oil is filtered. This “cloudy” appearance is often noticed during colder temperatures and during winter months. This does not affect the quality or benefits this amazing oil has to offer.

Baar's Disposable Pads are ideal for use with Castor Oil applications. They provide a convenient way to use Castor Oil Packs with much less mess to clean. The green or blue side of the pack is plastic coated for added protection from leakage. The opposite side is an absorbent, flannel-like, plant material to which you would apply the castor oil.

Custom-Made Castor Oil Packs
Our Disposable Pads for Castor Oil Packs, are custom-made specifically for Baar Products, and are unlike any other product. Our pads are made from all-natural plant material. This absorbent material is essential for the pack to remain fresh and impurity free even after multiple Castor Oil Pack sessions. Other pads, chucks, and packs contain synthetic gels to neutralize any odors and may also contain unnatural, antibacterial components. Our pads are custom-made in the U.S.A. and cannot be found anywhere else. They are uniquely created to be hygienic, less messy, convenient, and safe for use specifically with Castor Oil.

Suggested Use:
Simply apply the oil to the white, absorbent side of the pack. It is best to have your pack laying on top of your heating pack, green or blue side down, in order to warm the oil before applying it to the body. Then flip the pack onto your body and you are ready to go. No more messy plastic wrap.

They are Disposable so your packs remain fresh and impurity free. May be used for approximately 8-12 applications when stored in a cool, dark area. Use a 2nd pack to place on your bed to lay on to protect the linens.

Castor Oil Packs
A common area to apply the Castor Oil pack is on the right side of the abdomen, between the upper part of the rib cage and the upper edge of the hipbone. Another common area is across the abdomen from the right to the left side of the body, covering from the sternum to the pubic or groin area. Application is usually for 1 to 2 hours. A heating pad is placed on top of the Castor Oil pack to keep it very warm during application. It is best to consult your health care practitioner to determine frequency of application.
