Plantain/Goldenseal is a natural first aid salve. Plantain has long been known as an "herbal drawing agent". Topically, the leaves or extracts of the leaves are often used to sooth irritated skin. Because Plantain naturally contains mucilage and has moist cooling properties, it has an inherent ability to support mucous membrane health by soothing occasional irritation. Traditionally used to treat minor cuts, Plantain has been studied for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Plantain contains allantoin, an anti-inflammatory phytochemical that kills germs, speeds wound healing, and stimulates the growth of new skin cells.

Goldenseal root contains berberine, a chemical that provides antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal protection. Goldenseal has a long history of being used for infections of the skin.

Suggested Use:
Apply several times each day to affected area.

Ingredients:
Plantain leaf (Plantago spp.), Goldenseal root (Hydrastis canadensis), Burdock root (Arctium lappa), Chaparral leaf (Larrea tridentata) Black Walnut leaf (Juglans nigra), Thuja leaf (Thuja occidentalis), Turmeric root (Curcuma longa), Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis), Eucalyptus essential oil.

Other Ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Pure Beeswax.
