Honey has been used for centuries for wound care. It is known to have powerful antioxidant, antibiotic, and antiviral properties.*  Honey is a humectant (it attracts and retains moisture), and acts as an anti-irritant. Water when combined with honey results in the production of hydrogen peroxide, which is gently time-released in small amounts to enhance the cleansing effect on the skin. Honey helps to stimulates collagen production, which promotes cell regeneration and reduction of the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Honey is a free-radical scavenger - it neutralizes damaging free radicals. It also contains naturally occuring minerals, vitamins, and enzymes, which nourish skin and refine skin texture.

Beeswax is a nutrient-rich substance secreted by bees to make honeycomb. Unfiltered beeswax contains over 300 micronutrients and obtains its golden color from the propolis and bee pollen inside, both also known for their incredible health benefits (see below). Beeswax softens and hydrates your skin while creating a long-lasting protective coating against the elements. Beeswax is a naturally nourishing moisturizer. Beeswax helps lock in your skin’s own moisture and creates a barrier against harsh environmental elements.

Propolis is also called "nature’s antibiotic", and is known for its healing, antiseptic and restorative capabilities.*  It is a resin-like paste gathered by the bees from the buds and bark of certain trees. The bees bring it back to the hive in their pollen baskets and mix it with wax to seal the hive entrances. Its antiseptic properties ensure a germ-free environment. Propolis can assist in balancing, healing and soothing problematic skin, protect against bacteria and function as a great anti-inflammatory agent.* Contains an abundance of minerals which supports the rebuilding of damaged skin cells.

Bee Pollen is flower pollen collected by the bees and used as their primary food source, rich in many nutrients and easily absorbed by the body. It has powerful antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties that may help strengthen capillaries and reduce inflammation to help improve your skin’s appearance, tone, and complexion. Made of water, carbohydrates and proteins, pollen contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids, phytochemicals, carotenoids, flavonoids and phytosterols and carotenoids, which promote cell health.

Absorbs deeply into your skin resulting in long lasting moisture which is attributed to its unique composition of fatty acids. Olive Oil is high in antioxidants such as flavonoids, vitamin E and vitamin A, which help protect against age-accelerating free radicals. . 

Suggested Use: Apply to normal/dry skin throughout the day as desired to provide moisture and nourishment. For deep moisture treatment, apply to damp skin after shower or bath. Use clean fingers or spatula to apply. Separation is normal and may require occasional mixing.
