Myrrh has a long history of use in traditional wellness practices for supporting muscles, joints, ligaments, and tendon wellness. It is often valued for its comforting effects on areas that feel tense, overworked, or fatigued, helping the body feel more at ease during movement. Myrrh is used in massage blends and balms to promote a sense of warmth, ease, and flexibility, making it a popular addition to routines aimed at maintaining comfortable, balanced function in the body’s soft tissues.
It's ancient fragrance has been prized since Biblical times. For massage Cayce advised, "massage occasionally with equal parts of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh this would ...relieve the tension and strain in the muscular forces of the body."
