It is widely known that Iodine is an essential nutrient for the human body, and scientists and doctors have known for many decades about the unique properties of nascent Iodine.
Why do I Need Iodine?
Nascent Iodine is extremely important for absorbability into the body's system. Iodine is used by every hormone in the body. Primary uptake is in the Thyroid, then preferentially distributed to receptors throughout the whole body including breast, stomach, intestines, liver, kidneys, nerves, brain and every molecule including DNA. Seaweed, seafood, greens, raw sunflower seeds are good sources of Iodine, but may not have the levels necessary to fully support good homeostasis in the body. A sufficient supply of Iodine is crucial for synthesis of Thyroid hormones and for its normal function. A lack of Iodine allows other halogens, such as Bromine and Chlorine, to masquerade as Iodine, causing harm to the body. Signs of Iodine deficiency include: Unusual fatigue, Stubborn weight gain, Irregular bowel movements, Lifeless skin, Occasional aches and stiffness, and Bouts of sadness.
What Does Iodine Do?
NascAtomic can be taken internally and/or applied externally. It can aid immune function; even help curtail invader type cells like parasites, bacteria, mold, fungi, viruses etc. It has external healing properties as well for cuts, sores, abrasions by virtue of its antibacterial nature. In laboratory tests, Iodine destroys many microorganisms and viruses within 3-5 minutes. How it kills is not entirely understood, but it rapidly penetrates cell walls, stops or interferes with protein syntheses, and reacts with cell membranes and membrane bound structures. Iodine elevates our pH levels, forming an alkaline environment in the body. This may also help prevent common illnesses such as colds and flu. Women require much more Iodine than men because breast tissues use so much Iodine. We now know that the Thyroid and Breast tissues are the chief consumers of Iodine. Other areas are equally important, including the salivary glands, brain, stomach, ovaries and eyes. Because of its influence of the Thyroid's activities, Iodine plays an important role in the basic metabolism levels in the body for men and women. It helps in overseeing that the body efficiently burns calories thus preventing calories from being stored as excess fats. It has a role in maintaining the energy level of the body and in helping the skin, teeth, nails and hair to be strong and healthy. Iodine also plays a big role in destroying toxins in the body, while helping the system in utilizing both the minerals Calcium and Silicone. This form of Iodine in this excited state energizes the body first by being absorbed into the Thyroid gland which supports the entire glandular system in functioning optimally. Nascent Iodine can have a great impact on the body. Its abilities far exceed it simply being "easy to absorb". It can do real work in the Thyroid and throughout the body. It helps protect the Thyroid from free radical attack.
Why is NascAtomic Different?
Baar Products has over 25 years of experience electrifying Iodine. The quality that separates NascAtomic™ from all other iodine products is that the diatomic bond is broken, liberating the Iodine element in an atomic or nascent state. This is done by the process of electrifying the solution which allows the Iodine atoms to each keep one of the two electrons that had made up the covalent bond. This is known as homolytic cleavage and creates an electromagnetic charge to the Iodine. That means your body is able to use it more efficiently. In this form, the body can readily assimilate and use the Iodine and convert it to be easily used by the body. The Iodine being in the atomic state was the reason it was called Atomidine or Atomic Iodine.
The major function of the Thyroid gland is to concentrate Iodine, and to synthesize Thyroxine (T4) or Triiodothyronine (T3). The body recognizes NascAtomic Iodine as the same nascent Iodine it produces in the Thyroid in order to make the T3 and T4 hormones. There is always about 20-50 mg of Iodine in the body; 8 mg is in the Thyroid. The supply may be variable. Iodine comes from water and food, but is also absorbed by intact skin and lungs. Throughout the world, the intake varies. 1 mg is needed per week, or about 50 mg/year. Diet under normal circumstances contains at least 150 mcg (micrograms) daily.1 NascAtomic Iodine can make up the approximate other 850 mcg of Iodine missing from normal diet. Binders & Inhibitors of Iodine include Fluoride, Fluorine, Bromides, Chlorine, Mercury, Methylmercury & High Fat Diets.2-5 Proper Iodine amounts in the body can support the body's natural detoxification processes. Experience all the benefits of our pure, electrified NascAtomic Iodine.
Recommended for use under physician supervision. One drop in 1/2 half glass of water in the morning or as directed by a health care professional. Not for daily supplement use.
Apply as needed, topically to skin. Allow time to air dry.
The body requires more or less nascent Iodine depending on the issue being addressed. To boost the body, only very small amounts may be required. Frequent small doses are more effective than larger amounts at less frequent intervals. Most will find that it is important to build up gradually.
For the water based Atomic Nascent Iodine see product #161 in related products below.
Ingredients: 2% Electrified Nascent Iodine in pure grain alcohol. Made from pure Iodine (approximately 1,020 mcg per drop).
Warning: If irritation occurs, consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children.
If used internally, do not use in conjunction with any other concentrated source of iodine, and only under physician supervision. Over-stimulation of the Thyroid gland with resulting nervousness may be experienced. Do not use if you are pregnant. Check with a doctor before taking this supplement if you have:
- Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
- Cardiovascular difficulties
- Kidney disease
- On Thyroid medications
