Watermelon Seed Tea
Watermelon Seed Tea, 4 oz
Described in the Edgar Cayce Health readings, special cut Watermelon Seed Tea was recommended for its diuretic properties. Cayce also favored this mild tea as a way to flush and cleanse the bladder and kidneys, support circulation, and promote healthy urine flow. Herbalists have traditionally recommended watermelon seeds for clarifying and detoxifying the body by stimulating healthy bladder and kidney functions. Over the years, many have relied on watermelon seed tea and its ability to help quiet disturbances in these areas.
To make a tea from Watermelon Seed, the whole seed is required, including the hull. If not, you will lose much of the beneficial effects of this medicinal tea. Our seeds are freshly harvested each season and cut and crushed to release their distinctive properties. These are just some of the reasons why naturopaths, doctors and other health practitioners recommend Baar Watermelon Seed Tea.
Baar Watermelon Seed Tea contains vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin B-6 along with calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, potassium, and more. Special attention is taken when preparing the seeds for a tea, as the Watermelon Seeds need to be cut and crushed in a certain manner. Our cutting process preserves the integrity of the whole seed and helps keep all the nutrients and other constituents intact. These preserved nutrients are then released when steeped as a tea and becomes readily available and easily assimilated by the body. Just steep and enjoy.

Edgar Cayce Quote:
"But at least once a day, three days a week, do take watermelon seed tea as a part of the water. This would be prepared by pouring a pint of boiling water over a tablespoonful of watermelon seed and allowing it to steep. Let it cool, then strain and drink. This will clarify those conditions that cause reactions in the kidneys and bladder, for, the lack of eliminations and the slowing up of the circulation causes a greater quantity of drosses to be held in the system, and these need to be eliminated from the body. More will be eliminated through using this stimuli for the kidney activity than in most any way." (Cayce)
